Milk Button Reindeers: Cupcakes made with milk chocolate buttons. Formed like little Reindeer for Christmas.
Here’s the Recipe
2oz Golden Caster Sugar
2oz Self Raising Flour, sifted
2 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
10oz Icing Sugar
4oz Butter, at room temperature
2oz Cocoa Powder
Antlers: Pretzels-broken in half
Ears: Chocolate covered Raisins
Eyes: White Chocolate Chips & a Tube of Dark Chocolate Icing
Nose: Red Peanut M&M’s
Mouth/Chin: Milk Chocolate Buttons
Preheat the oven to 180C/gas 4. Place all the cupcake ingredients, in a bowl and mix together with an electric beater until smooth and fluffy.
Spoon the mixture into mini cake cases set in a mini muffin tin. Bake for 10 minutes or so, until risen and firm to the touch.
To make the frosting sift the icing sugar and cocoa powder in a bowl and beat together with the butter with an electric beater until the mixture comes together and is light and fluffy. Once the cakes have cooled, spoon the frosting over the top of each one and decorate with confectionery.
