“Spring is sprung, the grass is riz, I wonder where the birdies is…”. Why, they’re on the cupcakes of course! A nod to my momma for that cute little spring verse – she used to cheerfully recite it to me every spring… Love you mom ❤
These sweet little birdy cupcakes are perfect for any spring celebration – a bridal shower, wedding, or even for Easter. And given the little pink heart and that birds are a symbol of love, you could do them for Valentines day too.
“Please, please don’t eat the daisies…” (for those of you who don’t know, those are lyrics to an old song…). Or in this case, do eat the daisies! Pretty Daisy cupcakes make a yummy spring treat and are perfect for Easter if you’re looking for something other than bunnies, chicks and eggs. Sorry, no recipe or instructions this time around – just a photo for some good old fashioned inspiration.
Peep, Peep, so sweet! A sure sign of spring, its a nest filled with eager baby birdies with their little beaks open. Darling little cupcakes, perfect for Easter. The cupcakes are vanilla, in a pale blue cupcake wrapper to match the color of the baby birds, with toasted coconut for the nest. From none other than Martha Stewart.
With the colors of Easter and spring, these cupcakes would be lovely for an Easter celebration. But they’re so versatile are really would fit in perfectly at any occasion where “pretty” is the goal.
These cupcakes are so darn pretty, I think they’d be perfect for a bridal shower. But I could also see these working really well at a Sweet Sixteen (Sweet 16) party – or any girl’s birthday for that matter. They’d also be great to serve at a baptism celebration or a tea party. And yes, absolutely, cupcakes this pretty would fit in perfectly at a dessert bar at a wedding. The cupcakes themselves are chocolate, with a beautiful ivory-tinted frosting scattered with pink and blue sprinkles and a dainty little pink fondant flower offset just a little to the side. With that color combination, and those sweet little pink flowers, they’ve got the look of spring or summer written all over them. Sorry, no recipe this time around – just a photo to inspire you!
Oh. My. Goodness. Do these look good! Those are peaches you see in the center. Yes, she baked actual peaches right into the center of these Peach Cobbler Cupcakes with Cinnamon Buttercream Frosting. I want to eat this RIGHT NOW! Just the description alone is making me salivate, not to mention that scrumptious photo. She diced up some fresh peaches, tossed them with cinnamon, and spooned them into the cupcakes. I repeat – Oh. My. If you want to make these, BakeItInACake has the recipe.
