What a completely clever idea for birthday cupcakes – they have a little surprise built into the center – in this case, its the birthday boy’s age. The number twelve in blue! It stands out great in vanilla cupcakes. Unfortunately we could find no instructions on how to make these, but they are from the book BakeItInACake.
Ooooooh! (That’s the sound of me squealing in delight). These little Easter Chicks cupcakes are adorable!
And you can bet your boots these are yum-meeee too! They are orange-almond flavored with orange butter frosting. But I still think those fuzzy little chicks plunked on top are the best part. So keeeew-ute! You can get those little guys almost anywhere around Easter time. Dollar stores should have them for sure. I think I’ll stock up next time I see them. Never thought of plunking them on a cupcake. Doin’ this for Easter this year! Thanks to LaurensLatest for the terrific idea!
Its all sugar and spice and everything nice… The key ingredients in these delectable looking gourmet cupcakes are brown sugar, ginger and cinnamon – all the way through and through… in the cupcake itself, the buttercream frosting, and in the candied brown sugar decoration on top. So YUM! From Keep it Sweet Desserts
Spring has sprung, and that’s easy to see from these delectable looking tulip cupcakes, perfect for any spring time gathering, or also for Easter.
The tulips are made from tiny sugar cookies with colored icing. The buttercream frosting has lemon curd mixed in for a light refreshing flavor with a little tang to it, also so very perfect for spring. The cupcake itself is vanilla.
These lovely tulip cupcakes would also be very appropriate for a spring bridal shower. Heck, they’d be pretty terrific at a spring wedding too.
